Atonement

Considering the possibilities for my New Year's Eve dress I was sure I wanted something like a bare-back dress. I was thinking of Nicole Kidman's black dress in Channel 5 ad, I loved the dress, so simple and so nice at the same time...Then, six months ago I chose one pattern that would fit my needs. Then I saw Keira Knightley's green dress in the film Atonement and I fell in love with it. I know I will not achieve something like that, but that was the dress I wanted so I started with it.

My dress will be a bit different because of the pattern I chose, but I hope it looks a bit like this one!!!

Cuando me puse a pensar qué vestido llevaría en Nochevieja estaba segura de que quería uno con las espalda al aire. Me gustaba el que lleva Nicole Kidman en el anuncio de Channel nº5 porque era simple y elegante al mismo tiempo. Después, hace seis meses esocgí un patrón que más o menos podía servirme para hacer el vestido.Pero entonces vi el vestido verde que lleva Keira Knightley en la película Expiación y simplemente me enamoré de él. Sabí que mi vestido no iba a quedar como el de la película ni mucho menos, pero me gustaba y decidí hacerlo.

Mi vestido será diferente porque el patrón que he esocgido es también diferente, pero espero que se parezca un poco.
